What's up at school?

Sixth Grade

In reading we are reading Where the Red Fern Grows

In English we are writing personal narratives and studying coordinating and subordinating conjunctions.

Sixth graders are learning about Moses and the Exodus in Religion class. They are also researching the lives of Saints for All Saints Day and about the rosary in honor of October, the month of the rosary.

In science, they are learning about the parts of a cell and about the earth’s biomes.

6th Graders are studying decimals, ordering, rounding, them adding, subtracting, multiplying them and dividing them.  They will be decimals dominions by the end of our Chapter.           In Social Studies we are studying the world religion of Judaism.  We have been studying patriarchs, judges a, and kings.  We will be making posters for Jewish holidays.
