Kindergarten – working on how to hold the mouse correctly – how to single and double click.

1^st grade – Working on logging on – control, alt, delete, how to hold the mouse correctly, single and double click to get programs to open – keyboard keys like backspace, space, enter, shift.  We have typed some sentences to help with this skill.

2^nd grade - Working on how to hold the mouse correctly – how to single and double click – Collaborated with teachers and took a Field Trip to the Sea.  This program gives students the opportunity to see plants and animals in the sea.

3^rd grade – Students create their own password and become aware of the importance of that password.  We are working on proper keyboarding, home row – Students have been using Type To Learn.  Students are working on their Service Learning Project – Christmas Fun Activity Book that they will share with children at Children’s Hospital.

4^th grade – Students are concentrating on keyboarding skills – Students are coming 3 times a week to work on keyboarding skills. 

5^th grade – Students are working on keyboarding skills.  Students are working on all the tools in word processing.

6^th grade - Students are working on keyboarding skills - We have also reviewed passwords, how to add clip art and other Word tools.

7^th grade –8^th grade – Students are searching for information about the election to prepare for a debate.  There are some good websites on our school website.  (Links, library links, project links.)
