Kindergarten – We have been working on Internet Safety.  Kindergarten focuses on three important rules for the Internet.  1. Must be with an Adult. 2.  As an Adult for help.  3.  Never type in a website or search the Internet without an Adult.  We have learned how to use “favorites” to save websites we like to return to.

1^st grade – 2^nd grade - Students typed a paragraph in MS Word and worked on capital letters, periods, comma, enter, backspace and spacing.  We then formatted the document change font, color, size and adding clip art.

3^rd grade – Students are working on their Service Learning Project.  They are creating a Activity Book for sick children.  We have organized files by creating a folder for this project.  We created a title page using MS Publisher and word art.  We are using the Internet to create a Maze page.

4^th grade – Students are concentrating on keyboarding skills.  We are also learning about MS Word (word processor).  We are learning about the different tools and views for the document. 

5^th grade – We just finished our Baseball Card.  Students are working with Word.  They are practicing tabs, bullet points, bold, italics, underline and proper spacing. 

6^th grade - Students are working on a PowerPoint in Social Studies and we are using that PowerPoint to learn how to add custom animations and to put clip art or pictures as backgrounds.

7^th grade –8^th grade – students have been working on projects from different subjects.  Students have been researching using www.kyvl.org and practicing creating bibliographies.
