The September book fair was very successful.  Over $8000 in books was sold.  We also collected over $900 for the "One for Books" program.  The end result is a win, win, win situation.  Teachers, students and the library have all acquired some new books in addition to building a lot of enthusiasm for reading! With the "One For Books" we were also able to help three charities to give the gift of reading to some disadvantaged children.

Speaking of the "Gift of Reading".  There will be a one-day book fair on December the 4th in conjunction with the Foresters Pancake Breakfast.  It will be held in the library from 9:15 to 1:00. A great stocking-stuffer idea!
